There are many reasons to love NYC, but today, I would love to share my top 5 with you guys. It´s been a while since Sara and I came back from the city that never sleeps. For a very long period, NYC was on my bucket list of cities I definitely wanted to visit with a friend. I love traveling with my husband, but I knew NYC is one of those places you have to discover with a friend who shares your passion for random strolls, photography and fashion of course. The latest two are the reasons I had to share these pictures Sara took of me somewhere near the Grand Central Station.
Vienna is not one of those cities you would call an early-adapter. It’s rather known for its coziness and for running/being late in everything. Whether in terms of new fashion, food and other trends, in Vienna, you can’t expect changes to happen overnight or people to adapt to new trends very quickly. However, Vienna is and has always been rich in terms of cultural diversity and the different cultures have shaped the present picture of this amazing city. Fact is: even though everything happens very slowly in Vienna, we love this city and everything it has to offer. We love to watch the city grow in many points of view. We love having the diversity of food you get in the nearby restaurants, the ability of hearing so many different languages while taking the metro and, of course, the openings of new and interesting concept stores and small boutiques. For all these reasons, we have decided to share our love and appreciation for this city more often and today, we would like to start with a story about a special and at the same time new concept store we are obsessed with – The Overground Concept Store.
As usual, before my birthday, my husband asked me: “So, what do you want for your b-day? Any special wishes?”, and it was the first time I didn’t know what to say. I really don’t have any wishes at all, because I’ve got just everything I need and even more than that. Because of this, I just wanted to express in this blog post how grateful I am for everything.
Even though Hillary Clinton didn’t make it to become the president of the USA, she was definitely one of the first ladies who started bringing the pantsuit back to “life” during her campaign back in 2016. However, the real comeback of the pantsuit and the diverse ways on how to wear it are expected in the F/W17 season. The selection is huge and rich in variety, including everything from bold patterns to more conventional ones from the past decades. To celebrate this comeback, we decided to team up with our blogger friends from the “One Trend – Different Styles” series to offer you as many diferent ways on how to wear this trend as possible. To find out more about this trend, simply click on the direct links (pictures) at the end of this article.
Humans have always been keen to reach perfection in every way imaginable. Due to this and especially the fact that the media has changed our behavior and self-perception transforming us into real fanatics, Diesel has launched the new campaign “Go With the Flaw” to celebrate imperfection and uniqueness. Diesel as a brand never seemed to be keen on going the usual path in the fashion industry, but rather following and sticking to its mission:
To create an apparel line perfect for individual people who follow their own unique path in life and for those style-makers who express their individuality by the way they dress.
With the Flaw” campaign also embodies the spirit of the Diesel brand, which over the decades has always promoted an unconventional, frisky approach to life. For example in 2010, the
Summer season is definitely over…or at least it seems to be in the “fashion world”. Summer clothes have disappeared from the stores and have been replaced with new fall/winter pieces. When we look back now, we can definitely say, the SS17/season was anything but boring. We had some great new trends, but also lots of old trends that came back this year. However, it’s high time to start making some room in our closets for new winter clothes. New trends are waiting to be discovered and worn of course. Welcome F/W17 season! 😊
