I love reading books on self development, motivation and happiness. However, it’s not always easy to find the time to sit down, read and do nothing else. Especially when you’re working a lot, get home in the evening, eat and just want to go to sleep. Every year, one of my intentions is to read more and I often get frustrated because I simply can’t manage to find the time to read more.

And because of that daily stress and pressure, I love reading or listening to some advice on how to get or stay motivated, to become a better person and to be happy. And that’s why I love listening to podcasts. I can do it anytime and anywhere – on my way to work, while cooking, at the gym, just anywhere.

There are some podcasts that have really helped me to learn dealing with some issues or which just have motivated me on days when nothing seemed to work. Long story short – here are my favorite personal development podcasts.

So I was standing in front of an almost empty refrigerator. Just a bag of mixed greens and a pumpkin. Oh, and a piece of feta cheese. Well, that’s what happens when you had no time to go grocery shopping. This year, I’ve definitely eaten too much pumpkin soup, so this time, please, no soup for me. I do this every year. i just love pumpkin and I go overboard with the soup :D.

This time I needed to improvise. What could I do with these ingredients? I didn’t have much time either. Half an hour at a max. Now, that’s how this salad emerged and it’s, hands down, one of the best salads I’ve ever prepared.

So, if you need a quick recipe for a healthy, vegetarian lunch or dinner,  you’ve gotta try this salad!

I’ve always been a huge fan of quotes. I used to sit for hours and simply read different quotes on diverse websites. Also, ever since I started reading more books (read more about this interesting story here), I began building my own quote collection. I think it’s just nice to sometimes sit down and have a look at the list of the books you’ve read and read the quotes you’ve found inspiring for some reason. This year, I already made it to read about 35 books in total. I didn’t like them all, but 25 of them were really great. I’ve highlighted many quotes from each one of them and today I’m sharing my favorites. I´ll also include a short story about why I liked them. 🙂

I know we all live in a very busy world and can’t help ourselves but think we don’t have any spare time for our hobbies like reading, playing music or whatever each one of us enjoys doing once we “find some time”. I kept promising myself I would read more once I do “this” and once I finish “that”. However, at some point, I actually confronted myself with my own lies and had to admit how often I was indeed lying I didn’t have the time. Humans are champions in finding lots of excuses and there are always countless to-dos on our list. So, how can we find the time for our hobbies??? Well, we either learn to find some time to do those things we enjoy so much or we get old by wishing we had the time to do so. Today, I would love to share my story with you and help you find that spare time for your hobbies like reading more books. Furthermore, I’m sharing the list of my favorite books I’ve read this year and I can assure you I really loved/enjoyed all of them.

Ever since I’ve started working out, somehow I’ve mostly focused on my glutes. I just wanted to build that booty (which I didn’t have at that time :D) and I started doing butt-lifting exercises like crazy :D. Literally every other day! I’ve been pretty much neglecting other muscle groups (especially on the arms), which changed in the meanwhile and for quite some time now I’ve been diligently doing exercises for the whole body 😀

However, the leg day and especially the glute workout is still my favorite workout. I’ve tried dozens of exercises, changed the workout plans, but over time I’ve developed a certain love for special exercises which have turned out to be the most effective for me and today I want to share them with you. MY WORKOUT ROUTINE 2/2018: 3-DAY SPLIT: PUSH – PULL – LEGS | WORKOUT PLAN + EXERCISES

Recently I’ve decided to change my focus on Instagram and now I’m sharing my workout routine more often with you. Ever since then, I’m often being asked questions such as: How do you work out exactly? Which exercises do you prefer? How often do you work out? And much more… With the beginning of this year, I’ve got more active when it comes to fitness and I work out up to 6 times a week. I’ve become much more interested in this whole topic, I inform myself much about it and consult pros. With the help of some experts, at the beginning of April, I’ve finally got my workout plan, which I want to share with you today – the whole plan and all exercises :).

I stick to a 3-day split workout plan (also called push – pull – legs or PPL) with an extra cardio-day, but I will change the particular exercises every 12 weeks. Generally it is recommended to change (not the workout routine), but the single exercises every 9 – 12 weeks, because the muscles get used to the movements, which may lead to the problem that you can’t see any more progress after some time. The workout plan I’m sharing with you today is my plan for the period of 12 weeks (beginning with 1. April 2018).

The lemon-blueberry poundcake is one of my favorite cakes of all times – it is fluffy, fruity, not too sweet and on top of that ready in less than no time :). Some time ago I stopped using dairy when cooking at home, which was the reason why I hadn’t made this cake for quite some time. The original recipe included dairy products, however, a couple of days ago the cake came into my mind and I decided to try and change the recipe slightly. I tried to use some vegan substitutes and loved the result. That’s why I just have to share it with you guys!

Baking Christmas cookies ist one of the things I’m looking forward to the whole year :). Even though I actually don’t celebrate Christmas, I just love the whole Christmas vibe, the coziness, the smell of cinnamon and cloves and watching christmas movies while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate :). When it comes to Christmas cookies, the most recipes demand much time and preparation. However we often don’t have the time to bake for hours and hours. Also the most recipes include either butter, eggs or other animal products.

Last year, we came up with the idea of celebrating our own Christmas party in a very special way. Now we see it as a tradition and just as the last year, we took a whole day off to spend some quality time together, to get lost in our favorite Viennese streets and to recall the past year.
