Less is more – this rule also applies when it comes to beauty. There is one certain beauty look which has been pretty popular in the last few months and we are huge fans as well – the nude, aka no-makeup look. For this look, you’ll give up any unnecessary products because you want to have a natural looking glow á la – I woke up like this. 🙂

The Summer is over and the last traces of your beautiful, glowy summer tan have already vanished. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t get a sun kissed tan during the cold season of the year. For a couple of years now, I’ve been using self-tanning products. At the beginning however, I’ve done some mistakes and got stains, orange hands and an uneven skin tone. Over time I learned how to avoid these mistakes and today I want to share my top tips with you – how to get a beautiful, sun kissed, natural-looking tan with a self tanner. Wanna know it? Then keep reading :).

Moreover, I have a little review of a new product on the market I’ve tested, namely the Tannymaxx Sexy Dating Legs Brilliant Bronzer, and I want to share my experience with you.

You may have noticed the huge hype about the Korean skin care routine which is not something that started a short while ago, but it’s still talked off – with good reason. If you take a look at Korean women, they all have flawless complexion. But why? The reason for this is that they take their skin care very seriously, and it consists of 10 steps (quite a lot, right? :D). However, it’s not only the skin care routine that is totally hyped currently, but also their beauty products, which are, let’s say, quite different from the products we use in Europe. They often contain some ingredients, which are pretty unusual to us, like: snail slime, egg whites, egg yolks, bee venom, sheep oil etc. I read a lot about all of this and thought: I gotta try it. I just gotta try it. So I tested 3 products for a couple of months and today I’m sharing my opinion with you. Keep reading 🙂

For quite a while now, the lipstick has been THE essential product we are wearing every day and always carry at least one in the bag. When it comes to everyday makeup, both of us stick to the rule “less is more”, and that’s why we usually like to keep our daily makeup look quite natural. However, one thing that is impossible for us not to wear when we leave our houses is an appropriate lipstick. To be honest, we would feel like naked without a lipstick, because to us, a lipstick is such a perfect tool to make even an effortless daily makeup look polished and fancy.

For this reason, we were more than happy when L’Oréal Paris asked the 2 of us to try their new Color Riche Matte Addiction lipstick range and to create two looks for two different occasions. We couldn’t wait to try them out and find our favorites.

When it comes to a beautiful, flawless complexion and make-up look, a good concealer is just inevitable. It covers pimples, redness, small wrinkles and instead of a greasy look it gives you a beautiful, dewy look. That’s why concealers also became a vital part of our daily make-up routine.

To be honest, until now we’ve played safe and used only the conventional concealers that matched our complexion. A green or purple concealer was a bit too reckless for us – or was it just because we didn’t know how to use the colors correctly. Since there’s currently a pretty strong hype about the color-correcting trend, we decided to give it a try and see what this technique really can do. Hence we took the L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Total Cover Palette to check it out and see what it can do about redness and greasy skin.

With the beginning of the new year, I want to start something new on the blog – namely a monthly recap. In these, first of all I want to share my highlights of the month with you guys, but also I want to do this for me as a motivation, just so I don’t lose sight of all the great things that happen in my life and everything I am thankful for. This way, even in 20 years from now I will be able to see which great things happened in January 2017 :). Since I’m not consistent to write a diary, I will at least write a monthly recap. Now let me share with you some highlights of this month :).

Ripped Denim Midi Skirt + First Fake Tan Impressions

Hey guys!

Seems like Summer is almost over (at least here in Vienna). I really hope that some hotter days will come, since I’m just still not into wearing my fall clothes . Here is one outfit that was I shot probably on the last day it was possible to wear a crop top. I bought this skirt a couple of months ago at Forever 21. I found it soo cool since it has a special skater-ish touch. Don’t you think? That’s why I combined it with my beloved crop top from Zara and Puma suede sneakies to add more of a skaterish style to it. One of my favorite accessories this Summer is this cap from H&M which is really great, especially for me, who gets sunburned the minute I go out. That is also one reason why I’m never sunbathing. The other reason is that in my family there is a high risk of getting skin cancer . However, that is no reason for me to be snow-white the whole Summer.

b. lounge Hair Makeover

There’s one certain thing we can all agree on – a visit to the hairdresser is often like a gamble – you never know what you’re gonna get. That’s why the one or the other visit to the hairdresser turned quite into a drama. You just sat down and the worst thoughts are already rushing through your head; And that is the reason why the most of us stick to their hairdresser of trust for years. We wouldn´t let anyone else touch our beloved hair. The three of us also had our hairdressers in Bosnia and Serbia, whom we visited on every vacation. However, after some time it simply didn’t work anymore, because the commitments piled up and the homeward journey got less frequent – high time to find a hairdresser in Vienna.
