We can´t believe we are about to share our almost last monthly recap for this year with you guys. What happened to 2017? Is it seriously going to be 2018 in a month? Time really flies and we have to start thinking about Christmas presents, about celebrating New Year’s Eve and about our plans for 2018.
Less is more – this rule also applies when it comes to beauty. There is one certain beauty look which has been pretty popular in the last few months and we are huge fans as well – the nude, aka no-makeup look. For this look, you’ll give up any unnecessary products because you want to have a natural looking glow á la – I woke up like this. 🙂
The Summer is over and the last traces of your beautiful, glowy summer tan have already vanished. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t get a sun kissed tan during the cold season of the year. For a couple of years now, I’ve been using self-tanning products. At the beginning however, I’ve done some mistakes and got stains, orange hands and an uneven skin tone. Over time I learned how to avoid these mistakes and today I want to share my top tips with you – how to get a beautiful, sun kissed, natural-looking tan with a self tanner. Wanna know it? Then keep reading :).
Moreover, I have a little review of a new product on the market I’ve tested, namely the Tannymaxx Sexy Dating Legs Brilliant Bronzer, and I want to share my experience with you.
October- what a month! When we look back, we can already say, with absolute certainty, that the month was full of ups and no downs! October was a successful month full of great things that happened to us. So let’s start with the highlights of the month!
Autumn is my favorite time of the year – golden leaves, cozy days under the blanket, a good book and the warm light of candles. Moreover, I’m always looking forward to the seasonal fruits and veggies such as pumpkin, quince, eggplant and grapes. I love to cook seasonally, probably because that’s how I was raised. Where I come from, we always cook seasonally. You just can’t get strawberries or tomatoes during winter, or rather say, you can’t afford them. You always buy fruits and veggies that are in season and I think there’s the certain something to it – you always look forward to the one month when you’ll get your favorite fruits.
Cooking seasonally and regionally is also a trend that is coming up and I think it is really great that people are getting more aware of what they are eating. That’s also why I’ve decided not only to share my favorite recipes with you, but my favorite SEASONAL recipes that are easy to prepare and quick. Today I’ll start with my favorite warm fall salad: a sweet potato, eggplant, chickpea salad with a sesame dressing. (*vegan substitutes are also included in the recipe)
Time has gone by quickly and now there are only two months until the end of the year – it’s incredible how fast the year is drawing to a close. September has passed, the summer season is finally over and it’s time to summarize what was going on the last month! So, here is what happened in the last summer month!
You may have noticed the huge hype about the Korean skin care routine which is not something that started a short while ago, but it’s still talked off – with good reason. If you take a look at Korean women, they all have flawless complexion. But why? The reason for this is that they take their skin care very seriously, and it consists of 10 steps (quite a lot, right? :D). However, it’s not only the skin care routine that is totally hyped currently, but also their beauty products, which are, let’s say, quite different from the products we use in Europe. They often contain some ingredients, which are pretty unusual to us, like: snail slime, egg whites, egg yolks, bee venom, sheep oil etc. I read a lot about all of this and thought: I gotta try it. I just gotta try it. So I tested 3 products for a couple of months and today I’m sharing my opinion with you. Keep reading 🙂
New month-new monthly recap! It’s that time of the month again when we share with you what happened to us last month as well as all about our favorites, like the favorite blog of the month, favorite pieces of clothing, songs we listened to and so on. Keep reading to find out all about our highlights of August. ♡
If someone told me a couple of years ago that sushi would eventually become one of my favorite dishes, I would say they’re crazy :D. Even though sushi was something I didn’t like at all, it has now become something I could eat at every time of the day – in the morning, at lunch, in the evening… basically all the time :D. My favorite is definitely avocado-maki. Yumminess!!!
So, if you want to make me happy, now you know what I need :D. Another thing I like eating soooo much are sweets. Gosh… However, I’m not so into these bought sweets, but rather into home-made cakes and desserts. That’s why I also love to bake. Some time ago, a certain idea came to my mind: “Why can’t I just have my favorite dish as a dessert?” Said and done :D.
Since I wasn’t sure if this would work and I didn’t find almost any recipes online, I wanted first to try it and make sure that it is edible :D. However, it wasn’t only edible, it was TDF!!! My hubby was over the moon! And that’s why I decided to try it once again and share this amazing recipe with you guys.
Why do I like it so much? It isn’t too sweet, it’s fruity and creamy at the same time, it’s vegan and gluten-free. What more could one want? It is also perfect for parties at home and it’s definitely an eye-catcher on the table :).
I’ve never written a blog post about my birthdays, because I was always too lazy. However, on and before my birthdays, I’m so occupied with different thoughts considering my wishes and the fact that I’m getting older. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not concerned or anything, but my birthdays simply make me think about things like presents, happiness, people I’m surrounded with and everything I really need to be happy. ♡
