Time flies way too quickly and it feels like moths had passed since our NYC trip in July. You can bet on how many architecture and street style pictures we have taken in the city that never sleeps and we are so excited to show you all of them.

Before the trip, we kept thinking about what to pack in our suitcases worrying we wouldn’t have enough “cool” things for NYC. However, we somehow knew, never mind which pieces we pack into our suitcases, we would end up wearing a few we anyway like wearing the most. This was definitely something that happened with these wide-leg pants we both wore, just on different days. They are simply perfect for the hot summer days, especially because the fabric is very comfy and light. Also, you can never go wrong wearing a pair of long pants in NYC if you decide to use the metro or visit some indoor places. Why? Simply because every place is air-conditioned and freezing cold. Trust us, you’ll be more than happy if you have enough clothes on you.

I usually like wearing this pair of wide-leg pants with a pair of Birkenstocks, but due to the fact that we’ve been walking for about 20km per day, I decided to replace them with my comfy platform sneakers from Superga. I can tell you one thing: these shoes are seriously made for walking! I’ve combined the wide-leg pants with one of my favorite crop-tops in white and Sara’s mustard yellow bag which gave the whole look a pinch of freshness.

With wide-leg pants, it is important to create a perfect silhouette and balanced proportions. As the shape of these pants is ultra-voluminous, I opted for my tight fitting crop-top in black to avoid looking like a balloon. As you can see, I went for the combo with a pair of rose gold Birkenstocks. I didn’t really complain about my feet, which means that Birkenstocks are safe for 20km walks per day as well. 😊  Guys, if you want to feel relaxed and try on something comfortable,  you should give a try to wide leg pants. Either with cropped-tops or some other cute shirts, you can create some very nice and catchy looks for the summer.

How do you guys like the way we combined the wide-leg pants? I’m sure you can see how much we like very similar combos. 🙂
