The S/S17 season is characterized by a lot of old trends that came back in this year. It is foreseeable, that the ‘90s style is leading hard these days, once again. But when there is one trend that reflects the ’90s the most, than that might be the shirt under a dress look.
Some years ago, when I was 16 or younger (OMG! It is now almost 10 years ago) I have experimented a lot with my clothes. So, I used to wear a dress like a shirt, or a skirt like a dress, I ripped my trousers by myself and of course I wore a shirt under a spaghetti-top or a dress.
Well, my pocket money was not so high at that time and therefore I was not able to spend as much money on clothing. So, I became very creative and made my own styles.
Today, I earn my money and can buy almost everything I want to have, but I still love to style my clothes in a different way. Like today, as I wear my favorite dress of all times. You already know this dress, I have already worn it so often, but this time I decided to wear it slightly different than usual.
Well, this is not the typical „the shirt under a dress“ style, I would rather call it „the dress tied over a shirt“ look. The sleeves are tied at the top, so I got a sleevless dress that I wore over my favorite Diesel shirt. It now looks like as if I would wear a corsage over it. To complete the whole look, I decided to wear the fishnet tights and the Gucci lookalike loafers.
Guys to be honest, I had never thought that, I would love to wear the fishnet tights so much. But I fell in love with this trend. Unbelievable!
What do you guys think about my look? Do you like toexperiment with your clothes?
