Shoe trends

by Kaja

Hello shoelovers!

As you know, I already wrote about the trends for the SS16 season but today as a well-known shoe addict, I have rounded the best shoe trends for spring just for you. From sneakers to stilettos, classic oxfords to slippers, and of course, sandals, it’s all here.  The top trends are dreamy, daring, and all around totally stylish.

My absolute number one on my list:

#1 Slipper Mules

Similar to a classic loafer, with a flat sole and easy slip-on style, the slipper mule shoe trend is certainly one of the biggest shoes trends ever. They are not only popular for their comfort but also for their manifold possible combinations. You can wear them to office with a skirt a blouse but also with denim, knits, and dresses…just in combo with every possible piece of clothing.

#2 Gladiator Sandals

As last season this season again, gladiator sandals captured the fashion market. Style, comfort, and height rolled into one sandal – there is nothing more to say.

#3 Oxford Flats

They are one of my all-time favourite shoes! And here’s what you can wear yours with: JUST EVERYTHING. They look great with or without socks, with skinny jeans or cropped pants, with skirts and dresses, shorts and capris. And they’re incredibly comfortable, so I would say we all need at least one pair of these great oxford flats! What do you think of oxfords, girls?

#4 Sneakers

This trend is actually nothing new, but there’s no denying that sneakers are absolutely huge these days and it seems like the trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. White or black, brightly coloured or patterned, in different materials and designs – the creativity has no limits.

#5 Statement Heels

We could ask us now why do we need statement heels? And here is an answer, because with the statementheels you can make even your simplest basics look brand new. And girls don’t save them for a special occasion, statement heels can be easily worn as well for everyday wear.
