My three favorite spots in Vienna

Our beautiful city – Vienna,  has so much to offer! From castles, museums, churches to wonderful architecture – this city has it everything! However, the city, of course, has lots more: sophisticated coffee houses and its cuisine, a number of high quality restaurants, fine bakeries and a lot of ice-cream parlors. Today, I want to share with you my three favorite spots in Vienna – where I almost always have my brunch, where I drink my coffee or which ice-cream parlor I prefer. Keep reading. 🙂

Well, I’m no one of those people who wakes up and thinks, “It’s a great day today!” I need a cup of coffee before I can start my day and even think that the day could be great. So I will start with my favorites with my favorite patisserie, the place where I love to drink my coffee.

Creme de la Creme

This sweet and lovely patisserie has been opened just recently. When I’m right, just few months ago. However, this is my favorite bakery in the city and not only because it lays in my neighborhood. They don’t just have a good coffee, they also offer cakes, cookies, and pastries of all kinds; And they are all delicious. Believe me- really,really delicious! That’s also one of the reasons why I love this place so much. Everyone who knows me, knows that I love sweets and that I am very much in favour of good pastries! For all those who where not there yet – you have to visit this lovely patisserie and try the best of best the – mhm, everything! 

Erich

Every time some of my friends ask me, if we can have brunch together, I always say, “Hey sure, can we meet at Erich?” I just love this place and their great food! If you are looking for good quality, reasonably priced food, then you should visit Erich! Without any doubt I can recommend the Benny Eggs! PS: I’m at least once a week there. 😀

Eis Greissler

Vienna has some really great and delicious ice-cream parlors too, but my very favorite is definitely Eis Greissler. From classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate or strawberry to other favorites such as caramel-pretzel or pumpkin seed oil – the “Eis Greissler”s menu features something for every taste. My favourite flavor – Almond-Oats. I can highly recommend it!
