Transparency might be a trend popular among just a few fans, but I’m definitely one of them. And here comes the first look with my newbies. Without having the intention to rule this new “macro trend” in 2019, I got myself a pair of transparent booties and a transparent bag a while ago. On sale at Zara to be exact. I was very much looking forward to some warmer days to be able to wear them. The temperatures in Vienna are finally friendly enough for me to run around with shoes that – to be honest – serve no purpose of keeping the feet warm. The main function – crazy appearance on the streets of Vienna. Or anywhere else.
What my parents think about my clothing choices…
I had my mom visiting me in Vienna a few weeks ago and guess what her reaction was, when I showed her my new “plastic” shoes with lots of excitement. Let’s say, she was a bit “stunned”. You could see on her face how hard she tried not to offend me, and she just said, I should go and wear them if I really like them. However, this is how she really wanted to react:
Are you completely nuts?Spend money on plastic shoes and wear them? Really? Why?
Well, I think she didn’t want to be too rude and honest, because she knew I would wear the shoes anyway. 🙂
Transparency all over?
I was definitely thinking about a challenge of wearing an all-ever-transparency-look, but I quickly gave up on that idea. Simple reason: I didn’t have enough transparent clothes in my closet. 🙂 Nevertheless, I had 3 in total. My beloved shoes, a bag and my raincoat, which is not 100% transparent, but made from the same material. The result: Colorful Transparency. Like it or not? Let me know in the comments bellow.
