*In collaboration with s.Oliver Austria*
It’s been a while since we published our latest “3 Ways to Wear” article. We got the impression you quite liked these blog posts and for this reason, we decided to give our best to offer you more than one inspo-look when it comes to some trends for 2018. Therefore, we would like to start with a classic piece, which is most likely already present either in your own, or in the wardrobe of your mom. Today, in collaboration with s.Oliver Austria, we’re highlighting three different ways to wear one of the oldest and most classic women´s pieces: the trench coat.
You may have noticed how different the 3 of us are when it comes to clothes and styling. Even though we sometimes buy exactly the same pieces, the way each one of us styles these garments is always quite individual. A trench coat is one of those multitasking investments we were looking forward to styling in 3 different ways. No matter if paired with dresses, jeans or skirts, a trench coat has the potential to look great and keep us safe from spring showers and chilly summer nights. In addition to the many classic ways of styling this iconic piece, we are showing you 3 fresh and updated ways to make the most out of this oldie.
LOOK 1: Trench Coat as a Dress
Wearing a trench coat as a dress is not a completely new innovation, but rather a classic way of styling it – with lots of possibilities for updates. The easiest way to create a different look with a classic approach is choosing a different color. We are all used to pale beige editions, but how about baby blue? The color reminds of spring, of blue skies and looks very refreshing compared to beige or black.
To add another twist, we should consider replacing those rather boring high heels with a pair of some cool statement boots. In this case, pointy ankle boots in silver match perfectly with the baby blue trench and are ideal choice for rainy days.

LOOK 2: Forget color-matching
We already learned trench coats work with a pair of classic blue jeans. To take another step forward, we can replace them with a stylish and deluxe pair of jogger pants. Still not enough to make a statement? How about trying to match some “non-matching” colors? We are aware of the fact we were one of those who said NO WAY to “pink and red” combo, but hey…our taste changes as well and we kind of like it now. What do you think?

LOOK 3: Sports Deluxe
Try and find a similarity between: a hoodie, a pair of suit trousers and a trench coat. Can’t find it? We neither! Even though these garments have nothing in common, together, they can make a statement and appear polished and incredibly chic. Don´t you think so?
