Last week I finally found the courage to do it. After my longstanding struggle with forehead acne (which I finally got rid of! How? Keep reading ), I had my first facial ever, namely in the beauty salon Sue Beauty in the 10. district of Vienna. I keep asking myself why I didn’t do it earlier.
My Skin Blemishes – How It All Began
It’s been now almost two years since my struggle with forehead acne started. Who knew I’d get them at 23. Before that I was always asked how I managed to have such flawless skin; And I had no idea. I never had any problems withy my skin, so I never use special products or had a special routine. Then, all of a sudden, they appeared – acne on my forehead. I didn’t know what happened and I was so desperate. What happened to my flawless skin? The worst thing was that my forehead was so red as if I had an inflammation. Actually, that wasn’t the worst part. The worst part was that at that time I was working as a beauty advisor. I was the one who gave people advice on how to get beautiful, flawless skin. Sometimes the customers would ask me why my advice didn’t work for me and that was so exasperating.
It was really embarassing. Someday, however, a woman came to the shop and we started talking. Then I told her about my problems, how I went to dozens of dermatologists, I used different products (creams, acids,…) and nothing helped. Then she told me that forehead acne indicated that I had a sort of gastrointestinal inflammation and that I should consider changing my diet. After that I tried different methods. First I banned sugar from my diet. As this didn’t help, I tried banning gluten. This didn’t help either. After one year of struggling I finally found the solution and finally got a grip on the acne.
Going Dairy-Free Was The Solution
After I realised that there was no link to sugar or gluten, I decided to go dairy-free for a month. Then after two weeks I already noticed an improvement. My forehead was not red any longer. Gosh, what a great feeling that was. I really can’t describe it. Gradually many of the blemishes disappeared and I didn’t noticed any new acne. However, that was not the only positive effect. I had never flatulence or stomach cramps again. After a while I got diagnosed with a lactose intollerance. Ever since then I haven’t been consuming dairy products and I’ve never felt so good before. A couple of times, in moments of weakness, I ate a pizza and regretted it instantly. A couple of days after that I notices new pimples. Now, however, I’m totally consistent.
Getting Rid of Closed Comedones
OK. New acne haven’t appeared anymore, but there are these closed comedones which I couldn’t ged rid of. They’re there and don’t want to disappear. I went to my dermatologist’s and asked her what I could do about this problem. She told me that the only solution would be a facial cleansing with a microdermabrasion and fruit acis. Gosh, no! I didn’t want someone to touch or worse, grind my face and put acid on it! However, since nothing change for almost a year, I realized that I really had to do it. Then, last week I finally got the courage to go to a beauty salon and get a facial.
My First Facial Ever
I’ve got my first facial ever in the beauty salon Sue Beauty in the 10. district of Vienna. For me it’s pretty convenient since I’m living in the 10. district. The first impression was very, very positive. The interior is really beautiful and classy; But most importantly, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Syuzanna Schenk. She was so friendly and answered all of my questions (and I had thousands).
After a pretty long and informative chit-chat I went to another room to get my long-awaited facial. I was about to get a facial cleansing along with a moisture treatment. First of all, my face was cleansed with top-quality products. I’ve also got a facial massage, which was extremely relaxing (I really needed this). After the cleansing I’ve got a moisture treatment with products from Sothys. I’m so happy to say that the treatment was not only relaxing, but brought impressing results. A great deal of the closed comedones was removed. Why haven’t I done this earlier? Why? Of course, one treatment is not enough to remove them all, but now that I know that it really helps, I’m definitely going to arrange another treatment because I want to get my flawless skin back so badly.
Thank you Sue Beauty for this amazing treatment!
