It’s been a while since I published my latest fashion post. A reason more to be super excited about this one, which was waiting to be published for a few weeks. I’ll tell you why in the next paragraphs. 🙂 I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of ugly sneakers from the very beginning, but at some point…I desperately needed a pair. There are often trends I refuse to identify as cool and stylish, but the fact is…I’m a fashion and social media victim as well. Through social media, we learn to love things we don’t like and often the other way around. However, I would definitely say there are so many positive sides of the online world and I actually like the fact I’m being influenced a bit as well. Or maybe a lot. 🙂 Anyway, I was very much looking forward to sharing my three favorite ugly-sneakers-looks with you and I’m curious about your opinion. 🙂

Lemon, lavender, pistachio and strawberry sorbet – these are not only yummy gelato species but also a trend you won’t be able to escape this spring/summer season. Ice cream aka pastel colors are 2018 fashion’s favorite treat. Pastel colors are ladylike and sweet looking shades that can be combined with almost any other color and we are seeing them in a whole new way. In this season, these colors were not only translated to lovely dresses, but also to blazers, trousers and more.

Cosy velvet was THE cosy and soft fabric during the winter 2017, but a lighter alternative hat to be found for the spring and summer season. This is why velvet disappeared from the shelves and was replaced by the sparkling and noble satin. Besides the daring material trends in 2018, satin is an everyday alternative to vinyl and the transparency trend, which gives every wardrobe a touch of pomp and glory. The delicate, high-shine material resembles silk and is showing up everywhere, from feminine slip dresses, over to wide trousers and bomber jackets. 

MY WORKOUT ROUTINE 2/2018: 3-DAY SPLIT: PUSH – PULL – LEGS | WORKOUT PLAN + EXERCISES

Recently I’ve decided to change my focus on Instagram and now I’m sharing my workout routine more often with you. Ever since then, I’m often being asked questions such as: How do you work out exactly? Which exercises do you prefer? How often do you work out? And much more… With the beginning of this year, I’ve got more active when it comes to fitness and I work out up to 6 times a week. I’ve become much more interested in this whole topic, I inform myself much about it and consult pros. With the help of some experts, at the beginning of April, I’ve finally got my workout plan, which I want to share with you today – the whole plan and all exercises :).

I stick to a 3-day split workout plan (also called push – pull – legs or PPL) with an extra cardio-day, but I will change the particular exercises every 12 weeks. Generally it is recommended to change (not the workout routine), but the single exercises every 9 – 12 weeks, because the muscles get used to the movements, which may lead to the problem that you can’t see any more progress after some time. The workout plan I’m sharing with you today is my plan for the period of 12 weeks (beginning with 1. April 2018).

VEGAN LEMON-BLUEBERRY POUND CAKE

The lemon-blueberry poundcake is one of my favorite cakes of all times – it is fluffy, fruity, not too sweet and on top of that ready in less than no time :). Some time ago I stopped using dairy when cooking at home, which was the reason why I hadn’t made this cake for quite some time. The original recipe included dairy products, however, a couple of days ago the cake came into my mind and I decided to try and change the recipe slightly. I tried to use some vegan substitutes and loved the result. That’s why I just have to share it with you guys!
